Art festival

Kyla's passion is Art, she LOVES art. Last year and this year she has been chosen to show her art in an art Festival. This year the art is put up for sale, and the student gets the money made from the art. You can also buy prints of the art for $5. Each school in the district has a small booth and they get to choose about 25 students to show their art, our school has 700 students in elementary and they select a few students from each grade. Kyla was so excited to be one of the 25 to show her art at the art festival and list a selling price on it. We walked around the festival and saw what Kyla calls "real" artists painting, food for sale and the art of students. Kyla LOVED watching the artists paint, and wanted to stay all day just to watch, Bev wanted to eat all the yummy food provided, But Bex was just happy to ride the school bus that served as a shuttle.

Sour

Becky wanted to eat a warhead from her halloween candy. So I let her try it and immediately started the camera :) .I mean everyone knows you can't reason with a two year old anyway, so why try? It's so much easier to start the camera and laugh and the memories you are recording.

The first 30 seconds is priceless

Andrew's costume

So each year lately we have been making Andrew's costumes for stilts. This year he was a creature. Just because I made the costume doesn't mean I know what he is exactly so don't ask. I just followed Andrew's instructions the best I could. We had a lot of fun, and while trying the costume on myself, I fell backwards onto the couch. Andrew laughed and laughed and would not help me up until he got pictures. No I didn't post one. I looked like a bug stuck upside down on it's back with my legs flailing. Admittedly it was kinda funny. Well here are some pics of our project.
