Kyla is now 5!

Kyla is now 5 years old.

She Loves to help out mommy. Kyla has such a nurturing nature about her. When someone is sick in our house, Kyla becomes our little nurse. She will get them food, or water or snacks, blankets, pillows, and anything else you may want or need. She is very caring and kind. She makes friend very fast, and isn't too shy. At the playgrounds she easily goes up to anyone with in 5 years or so of her age and just asks them to play. She is a leader. When playing with others she is usually the one who is leading the pack up and down the playground.

Kyla's favorite colors are pink and blue together. She loves to paint and LOVES to draw. One day she was drawing on the big pads that go on the floor, she drew a picture and then in the corner of the page drew a picture of the picture she was drawing. It was pretty fun to see her perspective of what she was drawing. She is also drawing her houses in 3D. and is very detailed in her drawings of things, her people are usually still stick people, but her objects are detailed and in 3D. She loves to write letters to people. She always has a letter for some one.

she loves her dance class, and just recently had a recital that went very well. She is also looking forward very excitedly for school to start.

For Kyla's birthday we had a swim party, cake and Ice cream , then went over to the gymnastics gym to play. We had a great time, Thanks to everyone who came!

So yes, contrary to our last month of posts, we do have more than one child. Here are some pictures of Ky, and Brev. We have a little pool in our back yard and it is fun for the kids to play in.

So everyone who has had a baby knows how gross belly buttons are. Well it's a good thing I am not a doctor, because I get pretty squimish. I DON'T LIKE BELLY BUTTONS! So I am always really glad when they fall off at about a week and a half. Yet Becky's had decided to be difficult. She is now three weeks old and it isn't even close to falling off. Yes I have been cleaning it, Yes I put alochol on it, yes I let it air out. But she as a VERY inny belly button and the cord can't seam to dry out because it is so far in her tummy. We had to go get it cauterized yesterday to hopefully help it fall off.

But while at the doctors she of corse got her stats so here they are.

I can't believe she is growing so fast already. I also think it's funny she gained exactly a pound and 1 inch in almost exactly a week. But just she is now letting me feed her every three hours instead of every two. She is getting pretty chunky.

Our New Little Girl

So on Wednesday May 20th, I went into the doctor's office to have a normal check up. I hadn't been feeling well and hadn't felt the baby move for a while and I let her know that. Well my normaly nonchalant doctor feels my tummy and just turns around and leaves the room. She comes back in a second later with an ultra sound machine and does an ultra sound. Then she informes me I have no fluid. I don't know if by saying I have no fluid she means very little or actually NO fluid, but she says, "Get dressed, go straight to the hospital and check in. You are having a baby in the next 24 hours. Don't go home, Don't get gas call your husband and go now" O.K. so I was a little frieked out, my doctor who is normally very casual is now very nervous.
So I go straight over and on the way manage to friek out my mother in law and Andrew and probably a couple other people. I get checked in and get all hooked up. The monators tell me the baby is fine, but as the doctor said no fluid. So we get induced.

Hours later, at 8:11 am. On May 21st, we have our new little girl

Soooo tired

After the moment funny

So you know those moments when you are totally embarrased, but later you look back and laugh? Well we went to Andrew's Brother Chris's wedding last week. It was fun to be there and see him get married to our new Aunt Trish. For the wedding they asked Kyla to be the flower girl and Breven to be the ring barer. So on the day of the wedding they practiced and did a wonderful job....practicing. However, as we all feared would happen, Breven broke down under pressure. Kyla did a great job being the flower girl, she walked slow with a funny smile on her face that told everyone she was special at that moment. She did a great job spreading the flower petals. Breven has a thing with going first, and getting his way. So when Kyla and Brev started down the stairs Breven decided he didn't like something so he started to throw a fit. Kyla says, " Oh Breven don't do this right now" it was really funny. But he threw the pillow down next to him and sat down on the staris in a temper tantrum. Not cool when the bride was waiting to come next. SO guess who got to get her back side recorded while pulling a screaming Breven down the stairs. Yep, I can't wait to see that part of the video. Oh well. The rings made it to the front anyway minus the reing barer.
