We got to celebrate Kyla's 7th Birthday with Katie and Steven in Houston. We had a ton of fun, Kyla got to pick what we did that day. She chose shopping at the mall. Then we had a movie theater in the house, and ended with a yummy dinner and cake. Steven's family came to celebrate with us. Happy Birthday Kyla!!

Brie's wedding!!

We all got to dress up for Aunt Brie's wedding! Yea! It was a very beautiful day because Brie commanded it to be so! Here are some pictures from the wedding.

On the road to toughness.....

Brev our little hero, is starting to get very tough!! His favorite things he loves to do, and constantly works on is his skateboard and his scooter. He is getting pretty tough, and although he constantly falls he gets right back up. He is learning to deal with the scraped knees and elbows he gets and is proud to show how tough he is. He is getting good at putting both feet on and pedaling with on foot. He is also getting pretty fast which is kinda starting to scare mommy a bit. We love to see him take such an interest in something.

Brev has needed a video for a while. And we have been remiss in bragging about our amazing boy. So here is a little bragging.

Yea no Tonsils!

She woke up this morning saying that last night was the quickest night ever!

She slept soooooo good. (of corse some of that was the meds I am sure)

She also said "Mom I can fit so much air in my throat, I just have to breathe once."

Yea!!!! 1 day and already a difference.

my life as normal

I found my salt and pepper shaker in the bathroom, my phone in the toy box (again), a monster truck in the fridge, cars in the veggie drawer, an entire roll of toilet paper unrolled and half in the toilet, and a ball of string that had been unwound thru every room in the house. (except the bathroom that I was in, doing my hair).......Just another day in my life.

Concussion?!

Well, it was a long and interesting night last night. I had just sent the kids to bed, and started cleaning up my house when I heard a very loud crash in the bedroom. I didn't hear screaming, but went in to check on the kids. As soon as I saw Breven, he started screaming bloody murder. He was under the dresser with his foot inside on of the drawers and our very large and heavy T.V. still laying partially on his head

My heart totally stopped just then. He started going crazy, screaming, kicking and refusing to hold still. I got him out from under the stuff and checked him over. Some part of the T.V. had skinned the side of his face a bit, but other than that he seamed o.k.

He was very angry with me for some reason, and kept getting irritated with me. Well I kept him up for a bit, to see if anything else was wrong, besides a very bad head ache. He seamed fine so after about an hour I put him back to bed. Then he started throwing up. Thank goodness Andrew decided to come home just then. He helped clean up and looked Brev over too.

He thinks it was a concussion, having seen plenty the gym, So he sat up with Brev for a bit until he stopped throwing up. He only threw up a few times, but it sure scared me. I was ready to take him into the hospital, and would have if he threw up any more. But he calmed down, a bit of color came back into his face, he stopped crying every time he turned his head, and he just wanted to go to bed.

Crazy kid, bet he won't climb on any dressers for a long time.

We have been pretty lucky. We have never made any hospital trips for the kids, but this one very came close in my opinion.
