We have been doing projects around our house for a while. Here are some of our results

We are not so good at landscaping but we are learning.

The shelves we built for Kyla's and Brev's closet

The curtains for Their bedroom. So these curtains aren't the prettiest curtains. They are gray looking and such. But i love them because Kyla painted them almost all by herself. I helped with the paint of corse, and with a few of the stems on the flowers and a couple hand prints with brev. But other than that kyla did the painting herself.

We took an old filing cabinet from our office that was gathering clutter, took it apart, put it back together....



and made it into a clothes holder for Becca lynn.

We spiffed up our back door

Added a lamp to our table and made a table cloth for it

And managed a to snatch a cute picture of Brev.

All while Andrew was playing :)

Potty training

Potty training,
Need I say more? While Kyla seamed interested, Brev dosen't. However he is almost three and I would LOVE not to have 2 children in diapers. We tried a while ago, and it really didn't work. So we waited a few months and we are out to try it again. But who knew that a little boy could go to the bathroom so much!

He is very different from Kyla, and I don't know if it is a boy thing or what. Any ideas on potty training a boy? I could use all the help i can get.

Now a few words on Brev.

Breven loves to clean my house. Well try to clean. I just wish I was brave enough to keep encouraging him. Yet as he sweeps the floor, he tends to knock things off shelves with the end of the broom. It is amazing really how much havoc he can reek by just sweeping the floor.

He is growing up on me. Lately He has grown and to me has started to look more and more like a little boy rather than a baby. We have finally gotten him some new clothes, you see he has been able to fit into clothes that were 6&9 months and some shorts were even 3 month sizes, while a few shirts would be 12 months because of the length. Because his waist is so small and he is short, he has been wearing the same clothes for almost 2 1/2 years. But he is finally growing and now we put him in 2 T ( and some of those are huge )even though he will be 3 in June.

I kept trying to get a good picture of him that portrays how big he seems to me, but I guess his personality makes him seem older to. These don't do him justice Still I think they are cute pictures. And he does look a little older here.

Not to be outdone, Brev likes to do gym also. But we are glad that his class doesn't require the listening skills Kyla's class does. I guess you will see why.

unhelpful Doctor cont.

So I have had many suggestions from many people on the phone, in person and other wise, that i should switch doctors. Unfortunately i can't. Texas seems to be very weird as far as insurance, and doctors go. Or maybe it is because we have so many illegal immigrants here, but I have tried calling other doctors and can't get in. Because I am still considered high risk, no other doctor will touch me with a ten foot pole so to speak, because i have already been in to see this doctor, and have been treated.

So all is going with our new little one on the way. All is well, or at least I am assuming it is. She kicks a lot so that is my best sign yet. I have been concerned with my weight lately. I have always gained steadily throughout my pregnancies. This one has been quite different. I lost a lot at the beginning and had a hard time putting it all back on, Once i did finally get back to my starting weight, i just stayed there. But now i have been loosing it again for a couple weeks now i keep loosing, not a lot, but some. Although this has worried me, I have been assured that it isn't too bad as long as she is still active. I have been asking my doctor about my weight since i was first in to see her. She has never said much and what she has said it had to be dragged out of her. Today i went in to see her again and she says, umm, Lets see, you really should be gaining weight by now, and especially not loosing it. she says to me As if i had been trying to loose weight (THANK YOU DR.) as if i didn't know this. Yet that is all she said. I really have to be on the ball with her, if i want to know anything I have to ask her specifically and hope she answers me.

I told her about some back problems i have been having, and about my left leg going numb and going out on me when i walk sometimes. She just looks at me, and i say well it there something i can do about that? She says it sounds like nerve problems. Yea ( i'm thinking) and....... is this normal? or maybe there is something i can do? she says try kneeling down on hands and knees. Thanks again. I guess all in all i don't find her a very helpful doctor.

So Breven is quite thrilled with his grandparents dog Riley. He loves her and loves to play dog, so since he doen't have a dog, Kyla is his sub. This time he dressed up "like daddy" he says, even though all he has on is daddy's shoes. I love his laugh the first time he tosses the ball.

This video is of Kyla about a year ago. She is into dance and I show this video to show the difference her dance lessons are making. The next video is a couple weeks ago and she is showing off her new dance skills. The second video is kinda long, so no need to watch the whole thing if you don't want to.
