Last huraah, summer vacation

A last bit of fun, our summer vacation in Port A on the beach. Andrew put together a video for our pictures. He did a good job!

And up they grow!

Now I hope that by posting this I don't jinx myself.

Becky........

Becky is a very very good baby. She is smiley, happy, and content. She sleeps through the night, and sooths herself pretty well most of the time. She loves to stare at faces. When you are holding her, she will just stare at you with a semi serious face, then when you look at her she will give you a blinding smile, so bright you really can't help but smile. Then as you look away she will go back to her serious face and just wait for you to look at her again. She is starting to coo now and makes the cutest noises. She love little kids about her size. I sat by a 7 month old in church today and they were so cute talking and cooing together. I'm afraid I only heard part of our very good lesson. About 4 days ago she started laughing for the first time. Wow, and I fell in love all over again.

Just a waitin to smile

Brev......

Brev is getting better about not having so much attention from me. He is ALMOST potty trained.( that has been and ordeal and a half ) and is very affectionate, mostly happy, and LOVES to bug people. That though is nothing unusual. He has been on a bugging people (especially me ) kick for a while now. He really like to give me kisses, and more kisses and more kisses, until it makes me claustrophobic, but then he loves to do it even more because by then he is buggin me again. He is very much a boy!

Brev is still underweight. Last time we took him into the doctor, they had me put him on pediasure twice a day, and recommended foods for him to eat. They even had his blood tested to see if something was wrong. He's fine, but little. He was 20 lbs when I took him in, he is now 25 thanks to the very expensive pediasure, and diet. However he has grown 4 1/2 inches in the last year.

Kyla,

Kyla is getting ready for school and is very excited! She is always packing and repacking her backpack. She is also growing up quite fast, and is a very good big sister. She is very cute when she know she is helping. She will do something helpful, then smile at me like Aren't i a great helper? and she is. We love the stories she tells us and her imagination is getting very good. She read her first book and is starting to love reading.

We love all our kids and are having fun watching them grow!

Kyla Dance

Kyla had a dance program and at first we were a little worried. Last time she had a recital she went up there, smiled but just did the same thing over and over for most of the time. Like a deer in head lights. So we were worried she would do the same thing this time. Not only because she kinda goofs off sometimes in class, but she had a bigger stage and a lot more people watching. But we were so happy, she did a wonderful job.

And here she is the star of the show!

We were able to bless Rebecca and it was really nice to have both parents here for that (and Brie).

Andrew gave a wonderful blessing.

The Visit

Now I know you have all heard the stories about visits from parents. The horror stories about the things that can go wrong, the awful time people have.....Well, this was nothing like that. We LOVED having Mom and Dad visit. We wish we could have kept them longer. We were able to do lots of fun stuff. Dad helped us put up a fake beam on our ceiling and fix the hole we have had there forever. Mom was a saint also and helped with cakes and etc. We were lucky to have them here for Brev's birthday, Kyla's recital, and Becky's blessing. Thank you Mom and Dad form coming. WE LOVE YOU!

We took a lot of pictures with mom and Breven, he kept wiggling and makeing funny faces, so here is the only one where is isn't being silly, and now he looks sad. Sorry mom.

While we they were here we went to the river walk and had a boat ride

Brev Turns 3!

Breven our boy weights 21 lbs. His favorite color is black, his favorite thing to do is tease people, play trucks, and throw balls. He is such a little boy and we love it. (mostly)

Breven is getting a lot better at loving Becky. He was never bad, just really didn't care.

Most of the time Breven and Kyla get along very well.

One of the funny things about Breven is when he doesn't want to so something, he will tell you he is cold. He will do it at meal time, while cleaning his room, or sitting in time out. He thinks if he is cold he can stop the unpleasant task he is undertaking and go wrap up in a blanket and sit on the couch.

Also one of Brevens quirks is he loves to hide from you. He can come up with some of the greatest hiding places. While mom and dad were here, We were at Andrew's gym and I had gone in the gym to say goodbye. When I come out we were looking for Breven and after a bit of searching found him in the coaches lockers in the gym. We had been calling for him and As he came out he tripped fell, and very dramatically limped away holding his knee mumbling "I was just in the lockers"

Kyla is now 5!

All about Kyla Kyla weights 32 lbs her favorite colors are pink and blue and she loves being a big sister, most of the time!

Kyla is now 5 years old.

She Loves to help out mommy. Kyla has such a nurturing nature about her. When someone is sick in our house, Kyla becomes our little nurse. She will get them food, or water or snacks, blankets, pillows, and anything else you may want or need. She is very caring and kind. She makes friend very fast, and isn't too shy. At the playgrounds she easily goes up to anyone with in 5 years or so of her age and just asks them to play. She is a leader. When playing with others she is usually the one who is leading the pack up and down the playground.

Kyla's favorite colors are pink and blue together. She loves to paint and LOVES to draw. One day she was drawing on the big pads that go on the floor, she drew a picture and then in the corner of the page drew a picture of the picture she was drawing. It was pretty fun to see her perspective of what she was drawing. She is also drawing her houses in 3D. and is very detailed in her drawings of things, her people are usually still stick people, but her objects are detailed and in 3D. She loves to write letters to people. She always has a letter for some one.

she loves her dance class, and just recently had a recital that went very well. She is also looking forward very excitedly for school to start.

For Kyla's birthday we had a swim party, cake and Ice cream , then went over to the gymnastics gym to play. We had a great time, Thanks to everyone who came!
